SAINTS AND POETS PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS
WINNIE-THE-POOH
The Saints and Poets Production Company presented Kristin Sergel’s stage adaptation of A.A. Milne’s famous tales of the “bear of very little brain” in 2014. Rumors are flying among Pooh, Piglet, Rabbit, Owl and Eeyore as the mysterious Kanga moves to the forest with her son Roo. Their worst fears are realized when Piglet is taken into Kanga’s household where he is bathed (with soap!) and fed spoonfuls of Strengthening Medicine. Pooh vows to save his friend…but will the bear’s love of sweet honey foil his plans?
Winnie-the-Pooh featured 13-year-old Charlotte resident Stella Pappas as Christopher Robin in her first lead role with Saints and Poets. The vocal cast included company members Chris Caswell, G. Richard Ames, Marianne DiMascio and Seth Jarvis as Winnie-the-Pooh, Rabbit, Piglet and Owl respectively. Patricia Julien (Kanga) composed original music for the production.
Produced at the Off Center for the Dramatic Arts, October 2014.
