SAINTS AND POETS PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS
PETER PAN
J.M. Barrie’s beloved story of Peter Pan, the Darling children, Tinker Bell and, of course, Captain Hook, and their adventures in the Never Land was brought to life by Saints and Poets in our May 2012 production.
This non-musical, 1982 adaptation, was created for the Royal Shakespeare Company and combines elements of Barrie’s 1904 script, his 1911 novelization, his screenplay for the 1924 silent film and his 1928 published version of the play and includes the addition of a Storyteller (Kim Jordan) who comments on the action thorough the play’s wry and whimsical stage directions.
Peter Pan featured then Champlain Valley Union High School Junior Isabelle Fenn in her Saints and Poets debut as Peter Pan. Company members Marianne DiMascio and Eva Espenshade returned to the stage as the infamous Captain Hook and Wendy Darling.
