SAINTS AND POETS PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS
GOREY STORIES: A MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT
Saints and Poets presented this quirky and macabre musical entertainment based upon the work of Edward Gorey in the fall of 2017. Gorey Stories featured an assortment of weird characters and humorous, horrid happenings drawn from the best of the famed author and illustrator’s work. The production also included a stop-motion animation created to accompany a musical rendering of “The Gashlycrumb Tinies”, which ended each performance. Company member Nate Venet served as music director and live accompanist for Gorey Stories.
